Crikey! The countdown has begun for Steve Irwin Day on November 15 - an international and annual event to celebrate the extraordinary life of the one and only Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. The day will represent the many things Steve was passionate about: FAMILY, WILDLIFE CONSERVATION and FUN.
Steve Irwin Day is also a day where people around the world join together to raise money for Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors to help continue Steve's conservation work and the preservation of wildlife and wild places.
There will be STACKS of fun and activities on Steve Irwin Day, all focused on celebrating and remembering the life of Steve Irwin!
•Gates open at the extra special time of 8:00am, so fire up early and enjoy a mouth watering sausage sizzle breakfast at Admissions available from 6:00am until stocks last!
•Don't forget to dress head to toe in Khaki to receive 10% discount on gate entry and to receive a free gift - stocks are limited.
•Make sure you are in the Crocoseum by 10:30am for the official opening of Steve Irwin Day 2010. Terri, Bindi & Robert will be joined by some very special guests, Magda Szubanski, Beau Bridges and Shannon Noll who will rock the Crocoseum with a live performance to kick start the celebrations. Get in early, to get the best seat in the house!
•Once the gates are open and the celebrations begin, be sure to make your way to the KHAKI IT Kids Chill Out Zone to see Animals Rock feat. the one and only Beau Young...he'll be performing at 9am, 12pm & 4pm! What a beauty!
•The KHAKI IT Corroboree will exhibit how Australia Zoo and other organisations KHAKI IT on a daily basis and will offer loads of information on how you can KHAKI IT to make our world a better place.
•Be as fit as a Crocodile Hunter and try your hand at KHAKI IT CrossFit. With professional trainers on hand from 8:00am - 3:00pm, you will learn how CrossFit can make you as fit as a malley bull, ready to take on the world and KHAKI IT! Wooo-hoo!
