These April school holidays were fantastic and fast! I guess that the saying "Time flies when you're having fun," is true. There was a lot going on at the Zoo which made these holidays even better!
I was very lucky because some of my great friends made the huge 6 hour drive to the Zoo to visit, they are the Wilkinson family. They stayed for 7 days to watch me perform with the Jungle Girls and do the croc show with Mum, Wes and Robert. We also had the VIP breakfast to celebrate the Zoo's 40th birthday! There was an auction everyday as well to come and have an animal experience with Mum, Robert and me and all of the money raised went to our turtle research project with our 4 endangered Olive Ridley turtles, and to the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve. Our Giraffe experiences also started up these school holidays so now you can meet our 3 gorgeous Giraffe. There is even a competition to name our newest girl Giraffe!! Well, Happy Easter to everyone and I hope that you all had a great school holidays.
